Kit Rae knives and swords are available at fine knife, fantasy, and collectible stores worldwide. We do not sell them through this website because we do not want to compete with our own dealer network. If you do not have a local retailer in your area, a simple google (www.google.com) search on the world wide web for "Kit Rae" or the name of the product you are looking for will bring up numerous online websites that carry the Kit Rae brand. Be wary of counterfeits! There are many cheap, illegal copies on the market. Be sure you are purchasing a genuine original. If a dealer or website won’t tell you if it is original, is not using our then it is likely not. If they are not using the Kit Rae brand name or the actual product name then it is likely a counterfeit.
HOW TO IDENTIFY AN ORIGINAL
All Kit Rae Fantasy Art products can be identified by the Kit Rae brand logo clearly marked on the blade (shown above). Some very old Kit Rae swords and knives are marked on the blade with a shield shape and the letter KR in the middle. All display stands and wall plaques includeded with products are mounted with a metal Kit Rae logo shield on the front. All Kit Rae products include a certificate of authenticity (except Kit Rae sporting knives). Each Kit Rae product features the Kit Rae logo clearly marked on the box, and all swords are sold with an art print. Note that some early production of the Mithrodin sword were mistakenly shipped without the KR logo on the blade, but these were legitimate product, shipped in KR boxes with KR certificates.
