SEDETHUL AUTOGRAPH EDITION AND GOLD LIMITED EDITION AVAILABLE LATE JUNE!
Sedethul - First Sword of Avonthia (#KR0051A) Autograph Edition, and the Sedethul Gold Limited Edition (#KR0051G) will be shipping from select Kit Rae dealers in late June. Sedethul is one of the three swords of Avonthia, a new series for the Swords of the Ancients collection. An art print of Kit's new painting, Athollos Wields Sedethul, hand-autographed by Kit, will be included with the first 1000 Autograph Edition swords. The Sedethul Gold Edition features gold plated hilt parts and a genuine leather wrapped grip. It is strictly limited to 300 pieces worldwide and Includes a hand-signed certificate of authenticity. Click on the photos above for complete specifications. The Swords of the Ancients Scabbard (KR0049 sold separately) fits Sedethul, and a variety of other Kit Rae swords.
The Avonthians were three brothers, sons of a king in ancient times, who were charged with imprisoning the deathless spirit of the Dark One in the depths of the earth (from the Swords of the Ancients Mythology). DRAGONCON IS COMING LABOR DAY WEEKEND IN SEPTEMBER!
It's just a few month away! We will be appearing at Dragoncon in Atlanta, Georgia September 2nd - 5th, 2011. Kit will be signing and selling his swords, knives, limited edition art prints, jewelry, and Zippo art lighters in the Kit Rae Fantasy Art booth located in the Dealer Hall. Kit will also have a few of his Damascus blades and other limited edition swords, as well as a few other hard-to-find blades. As he has done at previous shows, Kit will engrave his autograph on any sword purchased at the show, or bring your swords from home to be engraved! We hope to see you there. Dragoncon is America's largest multi media popular arts convention, focusing on science fiction, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film. Host Hotels for the con are the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Atlanta Marriot Marquis, and the Atlanta Hilton. If you are going, we suggest you reserve a hotel room ASAP as most of the hotels sell out fast in the area near the convention.

ELLEXDROW WAR SPEAR NOW SHIPPING!
The new Ellexdrow War Spear (#KR0050) is now shipping from authorized Kit Rae dealers. A replica of the spear featured in Kit's new painting, The Red War, Ellexdrow is the first spear in the Kit Rae line. It features two stainless steel blades, a blackened steel shaft with leather wrapped grips, and finely detailed solid metal fittings. Each spear is serial numbered and marked with a laser engraved Kit Rae emblem, and includes a certificate of authenticity and an art print of The Red War painting. In the Swords of the Ancients Mythology, Ellexdrow is the spear of the 200 year old Mithrodin master Kethol av Torketal, who changed the tides of battle in The Red War by throwing his spear and piercing the heart of The Dark One, securing his defeat. SEDETHUL SWORD COMING LATE SUMMER
We are very exited to show a few teaser pix of Sedethul - First Sword of Avonthia (#KR0051A), the next blade in the Swords of the Ancients collection. Work is progressing on this new sword, which we hope to release by late Summer 2011. Sedethul is a creation of the sword from Kit's new painting, Athollos Wields Sedethul, shown above. An art print of this painting will be included with the first 1000 swords, hand autographed by Kit. A gold limited edition is also in the works. Sedethul is one of the three swords of Avonthia. The new Sword of the Ancients Scabbard (#KR0049) custom made to fit the Vorthelok sword (#KR0046A) and many others, is now shipping from Kit Rae dealers. Crafted from genuine and bonded leather, the scabbard includes hang strap rings, belt slots, and a handle strap. This scabbard was also designed to fit Sedethul (KR0051A), Anathros (KR0006), Valermos (KR0007), the Exotath (KR0030) swords, and most swords with a 31 3/8” (797mm) maximum blade length and 2 3/4” (71mm) max width. KIT WILL BE AT THE KNIFE CAVE THIS SATURDAY FOR REP WEEKEND!
Kit will be appearing in the Knife Cave of Smoky Mountain Knife Works retail showroom for Rep Weekend in Sevierville, Tennessee on Saturday, October 16th. He will be autographing and engraving his swords, knives, and Zippo art lighters from 9:30am - 4:00pm, as well as showing off a few new prototypes in the works. SMKW is the worlds largest knife showplace, featuring a huge retail store filled with knife memorabilia and the National Knife Museum. NEW ZIPPOS ADDED TO KIT'S FANTASY ART ZIPPO LINE!
Several cool new Zippo art lighters have been added to Kit's fantasy art Zippo line. The first three shown below (left) - Vaelen with Avaquar, Judge, and Kilgorin - were made available earlier this year. The others - Enethia on red and Vorthelok/tribal, Vorthelok, and Drakonus - are available now. Most of these are international models so they are hard to find in US Zippo retail locations, but they can also be found through various online dealers such as ebay.com and amazon.com. Zippo's high quality imaging process transfers Kit's art directly on the surface of the lighter with a special printing technique. Zippo windproof lighters are completely USA made and highly collectible.

We are making some long overdue updates to the entire website over the next few weeks. The new pages should make it easier to navigate to where you want to go. The Swords of the Ancients section has been completely updated to show which product are current, and show past editions for collectors. The Collectors List has also been completely updated. This autographed and serial numbered first production run is strictly limited to 2000 pieces worldwide. Vorthelok features a stainless steel blade (false edged), engraved runes, finely detailed cast metal hilt parts with "antiqued iron" metal finish, and a waxed cotton cord wrapped grip. The blade features Anglecal runes near the tang that translate as “Out of Darkness Comes Light”. These reissue versions, sold separately, are identical to the original swords, with a slight change to the blade marking for collectors to distinguish the old versions from the new. Each blade is folded approximately 256 times to create 1792 layers and blackened with a special chemical process that brings a deep red color our of the steel in the Damascus folds. The sword features three deep fuller grooves, a simulated ebony grip, and finely detailed cast metal hilt parts. Each piece is individually serial numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity and a custom art print. 40” overall, 27 3/4” blade.
MITHRODIN SWORD SCABBARD NOW SHIPPING
The Mithrodin Sword Scabbard (#KR0047) is now shipping from authorized dealers. The scabbard, made of imitation and genuine leather, is custom designed to fit the Mithrodin sword (#KR0025). It features belt slots to wear with a shoulder strap belt, snap straps, and an embossed KR logo. This has been requested for several years.
NEW STAINLESS BLACKJET THROWERS
New silver, all stainless steel versions of Kit's popular BlackJet throwing knives are now avaialble from Kit Rae dealers. We have had many requests for a non cord grip version, so here they are! The silver BlackJets are offered in both 8-1/2" long triple set (KR0033) and 10-1/2" long triple set (KR0032).
